WELCOME TO THE UNEDITED WOMAN ANTHOLOGY PROJECT

We are Natalie Osa Fraser and Janet Sona Beers, the mother daughter, co-creators of the Unedited Woman Anthology Book Project.

Ten years ago we started our journey planning a project called Unedited Woman which we hoped would be an anthology of stories about raw and exciting experiences of being a woman.

We were sidetracked from our project when we were offered a grant from HelpAge Canada to collect stories from seniors from all across Canada. We were so excited to receive submissions from east to west, which were eventually published in two volumes called Our Stories,Their Stories. These were sold to raise funds for HelpAge Canada. When the Wabano Center heard about the Our Stories,Their Stories Project with HelpAge Canada. They applied for a grant and asked us to collect stories specifically from First Nations, Inuit and Metis seniors and again we were blessed with submissions from across the country which were published in a third volume of Our Stories,Their Stories

We are excited to finally be back to our original project and are reaching out to women of all ages and backgrounds across the continent requesting your submissions and inviting you to join us on our journey to share these experiences in a published anthology.
